The North of England Otorhinolaryngological Society council are pleased to announce the reinstatement of the NoE speciality trainee fellowship for 2012.

Applicants must be trainees (STRs) in ENT in the North of England (see the constitution for a definition of the North of England). The fellowship of £1500 will be awarded to help financially with a period of foreign study or training.  

Submissions should

• clearly state the aims, duration and proposed dates of the training
• confirm acceptance and support from the host unit
• have written support from their program director
• have a synopsis of expenses.
• supply a current Curriculum Vitae

The award may be used solely or supplemental to other travel grants, details of  which should be stated.

Applications should be submitted to the Secretary. The Secretary and President will be responsible for arranging judgment of submissions. Application should be submitted before the autumn meeting for awards the following year.

The winner of the North of England Fellowship will be announced on this website. The applicant must be willing to present during one of the society meetings.
